On the 16th December 2018, Preston Pride is hosting a Level 1 Officials course. This will teach the fundamentals of officiating basketball and is suitable for experienced players and complete beginners alike. We would also encourage parents to attend to learn more about the rules of the game. Completion of the course would allow candidates to earn a small amount of money each week for officiating games.

We hope to run the relevant Level 2 courses in the new year to further progress candidates if they wish.

The course will start at 09:30 and involve a mixture of classroom theory sessions and on-court practical sessions. To end the day everyone will be invited to table and referee the U16 Lancashire CVL in order to have their course signed off.
