After a successful trial period over last summer, there was a clear desire for this age group. Numbers have been steadily growing over the year with as many as 20 children in a session on some weeks!

Coaches Lucie and Kyra have adapted the sessions week on week, providing a fun and engaging playing atmosphere, the perfect introduction to basketball for our youngsters! Sessions typically included a fun (and often loud) warm-up, games and plenty of opportunity to play.

As a club we thank coaches Lucie and Kyra for the amazing work they have done in establishing this session, and can't wait to see it build and grow further next season!

Next Season
For the 2025/26 season, sessions may look different depending on which school year your son/daughter will be in.

Current Year 2 Players - Will move up into the Under 9's session. This session takes place in the same venue, over the corridor and in the main sports hall. This session will run on Thursday evenings, 6-7 pm under the guidance of Coaches Neal, Craig, Andy and Sam.

Current Year 1 Players - Will remain in the Under 7's session, continuing on Thursday evenings, 5.30-6.15 in the usual dance hall. This will continue under the guidance of Coach Kyra, however Coach Lucie will be leaving us to advance her studies. We wish her well in her next endeavour, and save a spot on the bench for whenever she wishes to return! In her absence, Coach Theo will continue to support at these sessions.
