Over the last few weeks, we've held multiple trial sessions to allow players to showcase their talent. On top of this, coaches have been focusing in and carefully watching training sessions to see who is capable (and committed) to represent the club at National League (NL) level. As mentioned during the trials, NL is ran and organised by Basketball England and compared to our previous competitions, is a much greater level of competition we've faced. Due to this, a combination of skill level, work ethic, attitude and commitment was taken into account when selecting the teams. We want what is best for all our members and ensuring they're playing at the right level in the right league is important to us.

So without further ado, the Under 14's and Under 16's National League teams are as follows:

Firstly, congratulations to those selected! For those who weren't selected, the club is still offering Regional League which is still a much greater step up in competition compared to what we have previously offered. To reiterate a point raised at trials; even if your name doesn't appear now, it doesn't mean you can't play NL. If a player continues to work hard, improve and impress the coach then that player will see themselves taking the court in NL. There is always opportunity to progress at PBC.
