Preston Basketball CIC have secured the support of the nationwide brand CPC Farnell, a leading distributor of electronic components for business & home. They stock over 100,000 products on their website and on site at their headquarters in Preston.

CPC have links with the club through our very own Sub-committee member and parent Sam Metcalfe who when the committee were working out how to handle this year's digital scoring switch, came up with the sponsorship within the day thanks to the support of the CPC Managing Director Chris Haworth and his team.

The sponsorship provides the club with two tablets, one for each of our game day locations to enable the scoring table to operate the scorebook digitally. This is a welcome change from Basketball England to professionalise the game day experience and to allow our families and supporters to follow the game scores live as they are happening. Without CPC's support this would have been difficult to implement this season so we are very grateful for their kind actions.
