... one of the club's longest serving members, Dave Mann has been chosen to represent his native South Africa in the FIMBA World Championships. The event is a bi-annual competition with the 15th tournament taking place in Espoo, a district of Helsinki, Finland.

The tournament brings together 230 teams from over the world to Espoo, competing against teams in age categories of 35+, 40+, 45+, all the way to 80+! There are both womens and mens competitions taking place July 25th to August 4th.

Dave will lace up first against Finland B, followed by Serbia and finishing against Estonia. It's certain to be a really tough competition.
