... and 4 fouls to give, it looked like having led for most of the game Pride were about to suffer an away loss after showing some strong form in the league of late. The team did well to pressure the in bound and committed 4 quick fouls to send the Hornets big man to the stripe. Missing the first and hitting the 2nd allowed Pride a quick time out down 2 with 2 seconds on the clock. Coach Neil drew up the play intended on their big men being pre-occupied as they had been all game holding on and elbowing through the screens to leave Isaac Fitzpatrick open at the top of the 3 point line. An accurate pass into the hands came and a quick fire release put the ball up only for Isaac to be taken out by the onrushing defender. With the foul already given with the chance of 3 free throws the ball hit nothing but net to seal victory for Pride! Isaac converted the 4 point play to win the game by 2 after being down by 2 with 2 seconds to go. A crazy end to a highly frustrating game with no scoreboard, or clock and limited co-operation by the scorers or referees to manage the game but the W made the long journey home certainly more comfortable. Great job not giving up on the game Pride.
