Dominant display against league's basement team

We hoped this would be a game that would provide an opportunity to score big, rotate the squad and keep our winning run going, but we had no idea it would feel this comfortable. We took a big squad hoping rotation would be possible and it was clear very soon into the first quarter that Steelers had no answer to the pace and fitness we had available. Fast breaks were available frequently and their narrow zone played into the hands of our outside shooters, who had to fight hard to turn down constant good looks from deep and stay patient for alternative shots. The discipline was fantastic throughout though and in a game that could have become an opportunity for showboating was still valuable. High Peak did still have weapons to hurt us though. They possess some very experienced and wily veterans who certainly know how to score in the paint, however it was never enough to threaten our dominance. We continued to play well and had an opportunity to try out new things like our full court press, and players had an opportunity to get a good score under their belt and the confidence that would come with it. Five players scoring over ten points shows a really nice spread of scoring.
