The first home game of the season and what a thriller it turned out to be.
Preston got of to a good start, pressing full court and scoring off steals with Benjamin using his speed and quickness to get to the basket and score.
In the second David came off the bench to provide a massive spark with his effort and intensity this fueled the whole team as Benji Rian and Tobias added to the score.
Despite the strong play only up 7 at the half.
A Warning of a come back by Coach Neil fell on deaf ears as Northwich came out stong in the 3rd with 0-8 run Preston all of a sudden looking confused and dis-organised. Finley came up big keeping us in the game, entering the last quarter down by 5 and playing catch up.
So it came down to the last seconds still down by 5 when Benji scored then was fouled and made 1-2 Free throws leaving us behind by 2 but playing the foul to get possession back game which we just lost.
A brilliant gutsy performance between two evenly matched teams.
